Q: I want to order an item, but I can't find the item description. What should I do?
A: If it is a book, customers may order from a special page. For items other than books, please e-mail or call us mentioning your desired items with description as much as possible. We will let you know if we're able to do back order.

Q: Am I able to purchase items that are before sale date?
A: We currently do not accept purchases for items that are before release date. If the items are not listed, please order from special page. Furthermore, we cannot 100% guarantee to reserve customer's order. In that case, we will inform through e-mail. 

Q: Are there stocks left for recommended items and items that are introduced on website? 
A: The items being introduced on website doesn't necessarily mean  there are stocks all the time. In addition, the back-up items from Japan such as books and magazines, take a while to arrive. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Q: Fujisan-us.com handles what kind of items?
A: We handle most Japanese books and magazines. Also, we handle Japanese cosmetics, medicine, supplement, household items, electronic dictionary, kotatsu, and baby goods. Our mission is to expand variation of Japanese items.

Q: Are there item catalogues of Fujisan-us.com?
A: We currently do not have item catalogues. Please browse through our topics page and introduction page for more information. 

Q: Are there search functions?
A: Many items may be found through ISBN, author, publishing company and maker. To search for particular items, please contact us via phone or e-mail and Fujisan-us.com staff will gladly assist. 

Q: Am I able to designate the item distribution date?
A: We currently do not allow customers to designate the distribution date. Sorry for the inconvenience. 

Q: I can't see Japanese on my computer
A: If customers can't see Japanese on their computers, please place order through English website. We will accept any orders that's written in Roman characters. 

Q: Do you take orders by phone?
A: We generally do not take orders by phone. 

Q: Website is not working! There's an error message and I can't place my order!  
A: Please contact us through inquiry form or contact us at 1-877-FUJISAN (1-877-385-4726)/1-510-548-9689. We are sorry for the inconvenience. 

Q: How do I check if I placed an order correctly?
A: After clicking place an order button, confirmation mail will be sent to you after 5 minutes. If you haven't received the e-mail, there may be a chance that you didn't place the order properly. In that case, please contact through phone or e-mail. Furthermore, for those who have received confirmation e-mail, please check order status on customer's account page. 

Q: I want to know the order status. 
A: Customers may check their order status on customer account page. The arrival time may depend on the particular item, but back-up items from Japan (books and magazines) will take approximately 5 business days to 2 weeks by airmail. For items that are out of stock, it may take longer to arrive than the above indicated days.

Q: I made a mistake while placing an order. Am I able to change the order? 
A: It is possible to change the order if customers contact us. However, we cannot change the order if the order is already being processed. Please make sure you place the correct order before purchasing.
